zenbatchload skips devices that don't support SNMP, any way around that?

I'm moving my data from a 4.2.3 install to a new 4.2.5 install.  After using zenbatchdump and zenbatchload, my new server has 205 devices while my old one has 589.

After some research, I found "The zenbatchload command will attempt to run SNMP on each device. If the device doesn't support SNMP, it won't be added to the inventory".  Is there any way around that?  I would love for all my devices to be SNMP capable but there are a lot of older switches and, right now, I'm pretty much only using the ping functionality.
